Jennifer Lopez's Bel-Air home for sale for $8.5 million

Actress-singer Jennifer Lopez has listed her French farmhouse estate in Bel-Air at $8.5 million. Speculation is that J-Lo and her husband, singer Marc Anthony, have relocated with their 9-month-old fraternal twins to the Long Island community of Brookville in New York. And she thought the 405 was bad?

The house that Lopez and Anthony just listed has four bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms in 7,357 square feet. The walled and gated villa sits on 3/4 of an acre and, according to the Multiple Listing Service, has a "European ambience."

There is a detached guest house, a pool and pool house, gardens and pathways around the property upon which to amble, though it's hard to imagine Lopez and Anthony as amblers.

Lopez is one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood; she was named by Forbes magazine as the richest person of Latin American descent in Hollywood. As a singer, she has sold more than 48 million albums worldwide. Her movie credits include "Bordertown" (2006), "Out of Sight" (1998) and " Selena" (1997).

Her personal life has been just as closely followed as her career. She was once engaged to actor Ben Affleck and spent years romantically linked to musician Sean "Diddy" Combs. When her twins were a month old, they were introduced to the world in a 12-page spread in People magazine, which allegedly paid up to $6 million for the exclusive baby photos.

Anthony, who married Lopez just four days after divorcing the previous Mrs. (former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres), has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, according to his website. The King of Salsa won Latin Grammys in 1999 and 2005 and enjoyed crossover success with his smash single, "I Need to Know."

Brett Lawyer of Sotheby's International Realty has the listing.

Jennifer Lopez: 'I'd Rather be at Home With my Babies'

Jennifer Lopez hates being away from her children.

The singer - who gave birth to twins Max and Emme earlier this year - is finding life as a working mom hard because she wants to spend every waking - and sleeping hour - with her babies.

She says, "I just wish I could be in two places at once.

"I would rather be at home constantly with my babies if I could be."

It was recently claimed that Lopez - who is married to fellow singer Marc Anthony - was planning to have more children.

A source said, "They were advised to wait six months after she gave birth. They listened to their doctor's advice, but now they're trying to make one more baby.

"Jennifer can't believe how much she loves motherhood. Of course, she always knew she wanted to be a mom one day, but she wasn't quite prepared for the overwhelming joy these children have given her or how it's really cemented her relationship with Marc. She would love a full house!"

Jennifer Lopez says she has been in a "few challenging" relationships.

The 39-year-old star - who has previously dated P. Diddy and Ben Affleck - admits she lost touch with herself during past romantic dalliances.

Speaking at The Women's Conference in Long Beach, California, yesterday, Jennifer said: "I have been in a few challenging relationships. I have been in relationships that can make you doubt who you are and what you are capable of, and doubt what you deserve. It took me a bit little longer to get it right."

However, Jennifer - who has eight-month-old twins Max and Emme with husband Marc Anthony - also said raising children has enabled her to explore a different side of herself.

She added: "Becoming a mother can make you more aware and more loving, and make you aware there's nothing they don't deserve. Your eyes open. Your heart opens."

The conference Jennifer spoke at was attended by over 14,000 women, including Arnold Schwarzenegger's wife, and California First Lady, Maria Shriver.

Ben Affleck: Jennifer Lopez and I made a huge mistake with our relationship

Ben Affleck has admitted he and Jennifer Lopez made a mistake with the public nature of their relationship.

The couple’s relationship, dubbed ‘Bennifer’, between 2002 and 2004 was followed amongst constantly by the media. They also played up their romance for the cameras in the video for her hit single ‘Jenny from the Block’ then starred opposite each other in the dire film Gigli.

But Ben, now expecting his second child with Jennifer Garner, explained recently that he thinks it was a mistake to make their love so public: “I think Jen and I made a mistake in that we fell in love, we were excited and maybe too accessible.

“I don’t think either of us anticipated the degree to which it would take on a world of its own.”

Lopez is now married to Marc Anthony and the couple also have children: eight month old twins Max and Emme.
